February

  • Travel and UF Go – This session highlights travel requests, how to book travel, and how to submit expenses for reimbursement. If you are planning to travel for business or a conference in 2025, you’ll want to attend this workshop to prepare.

March

  • Annual Faculty Evaluations – Join this session the information you need to navigate the Libraries’ faculty performance evaluation process, including the timeline, documentation requirements, and ratings.
  • FMLA for Supervisors – This session will provide supervisors with an overview of the Family Medical Leave Act Compliance at UF along with other types of paid family leave available to UF employees.

April

  • Annual Staff Evaluations – Join us for an overview of the staff evaluation process, tips for completing UF Engaged check-ins, and using the libraries annual evaluation rating scale.
  • Position Descriptions – This workshop covers best practices for reviewing and updating position descriptions as part of the annual evaluation process.

  • ADA for Supervisors – An overview of ADA at UF.

  • OPS and Student Recruitment – This session will guide employees through the student assistant and OPS recruitment process which includes a focus on understanding Federal Work Study, advertising position openings, and onboarding procedures.

  • Payroll and Leave – An overview of payroll and leave codes and practices.

  • Employee relations for Supervisors – An overview of employee relations at UF.

  • Onboarding Essentials – Managers can join this session for the basics of onboarding a new employee in their unit.
  • So, you have a vacancy, now what? – Participants will learn about approvals for recruitment, posting a position, reviewing applicants, the interviewing process, recommendation for hire and the pre-hiring onboarding steps.
